fullydomesticated:
Several of my friends have posted this on FB, so I thought it necessary to pass it along here. This so true, and so well put. Here are a few of my favorites:
- His sock is on wrong.
- He’s not allowed in the oven.
- His hair is heavy.
- We don’t understand what he said.
- A balloon he got six months ago is missing.
- A puzzle piece won’t fit in upside down.
I, too, have a 3 year old, and would love to see he rest of this list…
Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.
There is one thing I have never taught my body how to do and that is to figure out at 6 a.m. what it wants to eat at 6 p.m.

On Therapy:
“I like having a person who helps me analyze myself. I recommend it to every person I know. I have a lot of friends that go to therapy now, and their lives have changed in such positive ways. When I want to know the answer to all these questions - What do I want? Who am I? Why am I still doing this? - I go to my analyst.
